It is with pleasure that I invite you to participate in this years 2nd ECMH Conference Intentional Transformation Early Childhood Success: Master Plan for Change April 23 -25th, 2018. The theme was selected to align the work that has been done by the early childhood systems partners to leverage our understanding of each others role and capacity to further increase the social emotional development, kindergarten and school readiness of Ohios youngest children.

Dr. Angel Rhodes, Governor Kasichs Early Childhood Officer will open the Conference with Ohios 5-year Framework Early Childhood Plan for Success.  Dr. Neal Horen from Georgetown University and Dr. Walter Gilliam from Yale will be the conference keynotes, helping to focus our awareness of the preschool expulsion research and what IECMH as an EBP is doing to effect positive changes. The second day Luncheon Speaker Kathleen Mitchell, will share her story of how parental substance use directly impacts childrens health outcomes and life trajectories. This year we will host a new conference feature, Fireside Chats with key speakers to permit attendees to meet, greet and exchange conversation with invited early childhoods thought leaders and presenters.

CE and CEU applications are submitted for Ohio Approved PD, DODD Early Intervention and the customary professional state licensing boards.  Monday, April 23rd 11:00am is set aside for arrival and opens registration for our 500 expected guests. Our Monday afternoon opening speaker is 7-time Emmy Award Winner Charles Fox, Wilberforce University on 21st Century Millennials Culture:  Social Media & Information Technology.  A Vendors reception will follow.  Our venue is the Polaris Hilton. Please mark your calendars and share our Save the Date.
